Tumbleweed Bees Establishes New Headquarters at the Texas Tech Innovation Hub

By the Beekeeper's Daughter

Tumbleweed Bees is excited to announce the opening of our new headquarters office at the Texas Tech Innovation Hub in Lubbock, Texas.

For years, Tumbleweed Bees has focused on producing local honey, supporting honeybee health, and promoting beekeeping throughout the South Plains and West Texas. As our business continues to grow, establishing a presence at the Innovation Hub creates new opportunities to collaborate with researchers, students, entrepreneurs, and agricultural leaders from across the region.

One of the primary reasons for the move is our growing relationship with Texas Tech University. Tumbleweed Bees is currently involved in collaborative research efforts and is developing internship opportunities that will allow students to gain hands-on experience in beekeeping, honeybee management, pollinator health, and agricultural research.

The new office also provides a central meeting place where students, faculty, and industry partners can connect with Tumbleweed Bees and explore ways to work together. Being located just minutes from campus makes collaboration easier and helps strengthen the connection between academic research and real-world beekeeping operations.

The move has already begun opening doors. This week, Tumbleweed Bees founder Nathan Prueitt presented at the 1 Million Cups event, sharing the company's story, discussing future goals, and receiving valuable feedback from fellow entrepreneurs and business leaders.

We're excited about what lies ahead and look forward to sharing updates as new research partnerships, internship programs, and community collaborations continue to develop.  Establishing our headquarters at the Texas Tech Innovation Hub is an important milestone for Tumbleweed Bees, and we're eager to see where these new opportunities lead.
