This dark honey is completely local to Lubbock, just like all of our honey. The bees that produced this honey originally found their home in the barrel at Mary Lee Gardens in Lubbock, TX and were surround by a nursery full of blooms! We moved the barrel to our bee yard where they were then surrounded by cotton. The honey has a richer flavor and is not as sweet as our lighter cotton honey.
